GO4IT consortium kickoff meeting
Alexander Petrenko, the UniTESK Lab leader, and Nikolay Pakulin, UniTESK Lab staff member, participated in GO4IT consortium kickoff meeting that took place on November 27-30, 2005 in the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), Sophia-Antipolis, France. The objectives of Go4IT are to promote and foster conformance testing oriented validation approach in telecommunications. The consortium comprises 11 organizations from Europe, Russia, China and Brazil. At the kickoff meeting consortium members discussed the project strategy and defined short-term plans.

Application of the UniTESK technology for functional testing of hardware models
On November 2005, ISP RAS published the preprint "V.P. Ivannikov, A.S. Kamkin, V.V. Kuliamin, and A.K. Petrenko. Aplication of the UniTESK technology for functional testing of hardware models" (in Russian).
The preprint discusses a novel and, we think, perspective field of the UniTESK technology application, functional test development for hardware models. The paper shows how to extend the basic UniTESK test system architecture for functional testing of Verilog HDL and SystemC models. For each of the mentioned sorts of the models the CTesK-aided test development process is described with the estimation of the process steps automation possibilities.
